Stand By Your Word

Be a person who stands by your word. Let your yes be yes and your no be no. Take care not to promise something which you may not be able to do; but if you do promise, then keep your word. Such people are rare but they have no problem finding respect from others and they walk through life with a clear conscience.

But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation. James 5:12
