This New Year I Resolve...

As we approach a end of one year and the coming of another, I am reminded of what Michael Altshuler said:

"The bad news is [that] time flies. The good news is you’re the pilot."

Perhaps this New Year, it would be good for each of us to remember that time does fly - so we should let God be the pilot. The flight will be smoother! Therefore let the following be my resolution:

I resolve, with the help of my God, to live for the glory of the only true God.

(What did you expect from a guy that titled his book For His Glory?)

For those that may not believe in resolutions, I give you the poem below:

A New Year's Poem for Christians by -- Mary Fairchild

Instead of making a New Year's resolution
Consider committing to a biblical solution
Your promises are easily broken
Empty words, though earnestly spoken
But God's Word transforms the soul
By His Holy Spirit making you whole
As you spend time alone with Him
He will change you from within
