Workless Myth
He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich. Proverbs 10:4
Wealth without work is a myth. This mindset has wrecked the potential of many a good person. Today, there is a complete industry, which is working very hard and becoming excessively prosperous, trying to convince you that all you really need is the right break. The wedge these get-rich-quick schemes have is they sell you your dreams; but never tell you that the only way those dreams become reality is by working – usually very hard.
Here is a simple question I ask myself when deciding if something is to-good-to-be-true: If you could really make that much money that easily, wouldn’t everybody be doing it?
Don’t spend your life trying to buy your dreams while making someone else rich. Spend your life working for those dreams.
I do not know anyone who has gotten to the top without hard work. That is the recipe. It will not always get you to the top, but it will get you pretty near. ~Margaret Thatcher
