Should I Be a Follower or a Leader?*

Be a Good Follower! Become a Great Leader!

The question is, “Should I be a follower or a leader?” The answer is simple. Be both! When you become a good follower of Jesus Christ, you will become a great leader of others.

The whole question of being a follower hangs on another question. That question is, “Who are you going to follow?” If you going to follow your own desires or the desires of the world, then it is obvious you should not be a follower. However, if your desire is to follow the Lord, then be the best of followers for then you will become a great leader.

Great leaders have one thing in common. They have a cause, right or wrong, they strongly believe in.  By being a disciple of Christ, others will see and follow after you. Eventually they will become followers of Christ and then leaders of others.

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. Matthew 16:24 

And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. Matthew 4:19
