A State of Thankfulness

Did you wake up this morning and discover that Thanksgiving is only a few days off and Christmas is closing in fast? Are you finding it hard to get in the Thanksgiving spirit? 

Consider this thought:

A state of thankfulness occurs when a person sees themselves in the light of his or her true position in the universe.

Perhaps the following verses will help you get a better perspective.

When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.  Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet:   All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;  The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.  O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! Psalms 8:3-9

The Real Christmas Story!

The Christmas story is about God sending light where there was only darkness. Its theme is hope and its inspiration is love. The Christmas story is about God doing the impossible and loving the unlovable. Don't lose the meaning, purpose, and hope of Christmas.
