Clear Up Misunderstandings Quickly

Try to clear up misunderstandings quickly. Misunderstandings between you and others will occur. Take the initiative to rectify the misunderstanding even if you believe you are in the right. The longer you let the misunderstanding go the more difficult it becomes to resolve the situation.

Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. -Matthew 5:23-24

A Person's Size*

The size of a person is not measured in feet but in their ability to forgive. The only true adult in any group is the one that lets go of bitterness and embraces forgiveness. Stand tall! Forgive!

Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. -Col 3:13 ESV

"I had the choice to either grow up and find God in the situation or become bitter. I chose to find God. And I experienced freedom like I never knew before." -Heather Mercer - Christian Aid Worker who was imprisoned in Afghanistan, 2001.
