Be a person of action!

Be a person of action.  The world is full of spectators and the church is full of pew-sitters. Be a doer! This does not mean that you are to be impulsive or careless; but it does mean that you cease the opportunities before you. Some people let the world pass by and are always talking about what could have been, while other cease the moment. The shakers and movers of the world are people of action. Share

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. -James 1:22

Human Energy

There is a resource given by God that is limited and must be used wisely. That resource is energy. 

Where we spend our energy greatly affects our efficiency and effectiveness. We can squander it on meaningless activities or we can use it for eternal endeavors. We can choose to pursue pleasures or profits that vanish in moments. Or we can invest our energy in the everlasting. Wisely use your energy for the Lord. 

And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Colossians 3:17 ESV

Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:8 ESV

Be A Doer

A French proverb goes like this: Young people tell what they are doing, old people what they have done and fools what they wish to do. Don't be the latter. Be a person of action.

The Quicksand of Self-Pity

Avoid the quicksand of self-pity. Self-pity is like taking a bath in mud; it changes nothing. Plant your feet on solid ground and move forward.

And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. Make a Difference

Move Forward!

Put one foot in front of the other and keep moving forward. Life should never be at a standstill. Keep learning, keep improving, and keep moving! Moving forward is the only way to enjoy the journey. Trying to live yesterday over is a waste of energy.
