Remember the Hare and the Tortoise

Remember the hare and the tortoise. Life's winners aren't the fastest but those that persistently and consistently stay on target.

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:14

"That which we persist in doing becomes easier, not that the task itself has become easier, but that our ability to perform it has improved." -Ralph Waldo Emerson

Do Your Best!

Do your best!
Do your best! Expect no more and no less. When you put your head on your pillow at the end of the day, know that you have done your very best. People that consistently do their best rest well and accomplish much.

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15)

"It is the nature of man to rise to greatness if greatness is expected of him." -John Steinbeck

Be Better*

Be Better

Be consistently obedient to God's word. Choose to always obey. Many people often "window-shop" when it comes to obedience. They only choose to obey when it's convenient. Real joy is found when a person steadfastly obeys the Lord.

O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes! (Psalms 119:5)

"The man that believes will obey; failure to obey is convincing proof that there is no true faith present. To attempt the impossible God must give faith or there will be none, and He gives faith to the obedient heart only." -A. W. Tozer Share
