Loyalty

Loyalty is a noble trait that is recognized by many but practiced by few. Be loyal first to God and your faith and then to those you love. When those around you observe your loyalty to your God, your faith, and those you love, they will respect you and be more likely to be loyal to you.

God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. (1Co 1:9)

We dedicate today's blog to a devoted a loyal friend of our family, Sparky, who past away May 11, 2017.  Truly the animal kingdom can teach us much about devotion and loyalty.  We thank God for the joy he brought to us.

The Key Word Confidentially!

Confidentially! If someone has entrusted you with a confidence, then make every effort to keep it. They have entrusted you with a treasure and honored you with their trust. The only exceptions to keeping a confidence is if someone shares that they were going to hurt themselves or someone else or engage in some illegal activity.

People who keep a confidence are few; so take care who you confide in. Follow @pastorbarr

Rejoice With Your Friends

Share with others in their joy. Some people are jealous when their friends are blessed or succeed. They deprive themselves of a joy found by rejoicing in the blessings of others. Their jealousy does not allow them to share in this special blessing. Rejoice with your friends and you will experience their joy too. Share 

Jesus said; “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ (Luke 15:14-16)
